The artwork: Consumerism

Sculpture of a pig made with high-temperature chamotted refractory paste, which is presented as a symbolic martyr in a personal reflection on consumerism and the management of resources in today's society. This pig carries on its body an accumulation of garbage, created with scrap iron from workshops, factories, scrap yards, which I collect in my day to day.

The sculpture has been fired in an electric oven at high temperature in a single firing, so as not to weaken the iron.
