An admirer recommended the film "The Red Globe" (1956) directed by Albert Lamorisse, because of my sculpture "Girl with red balloon", which reminded him of one of his favorite films, which I did not know, after seeing the film, now the grateful one is me, it is a masterpiece.

Watching the film, I was inspired to make two sculptures that reflected the feelings that caused me to see it, this time the sculpture "Girl with blue magic balloon 47" was originated.

I hope that if you have seen the film, you like it and if not, I recommend you to see it, it is a jewel.

Reflecting the weightlessness of the balloons that in the film have a life of their own, together with the illusions and experiences of some children, seemed to me a way to get this jewel of cinema to more people and for lovers of the film who are now legion and I include myself, a nice way to visualize it in their homes or as a gift.
